
“Head-On Crash”
OROVILLE, CALIFORNIA (February 2, 2017) – A horrific head on crash on Thursday killed four people and injured two on Highway 70, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 7:05 pm at the intersection of Highway 70 and Central House Road. A Honda Civic and a Ford Mustang collided head on at the scene for unknown reasons.
The four occupants of the Honda Civic, including a 6 year old girl, were all pronounced dead at the scene by responding medical personnel. The two people inside the Mustang, 77 year old Lawrence Grundmann Jr, and 77 year old Kathleen Grundmann, were both seriously injured and rushed to Enloe Medical Center. The accident remains under investigation at this time to determine cause and liability.
