ORO GRANDE, CALIFORNIA (January 24, 2017) – Alejandro Barajas has been identified as the man killed after being hit on the National Trails Highway near Robinson Ranch Road on Tuesday night, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 7:00 pm on the southbound side of National Trails Highway near Robinson Ranch Road. 34 year old Alejandro Barajas was walking and carrying a green trash can when he was struck by a red Fiat 500 driven by a 64 year old.
Alejandro Barajas was tragically pronounced dead at the scene by responding paramedics. The driver of the Fiat remained at the scene and the accident is under investigation to determine cause and liability.
