OREM, UTAH (March 6, 2017) – A woman that was killed in a tragic accident on February 27th has been identified as Leilani White, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 9:40 am on Interstate 15 near the Center Street exit in Orem. 37 year old Leilani White was slowed or stopped in the middle lane of Interstate 15 for an unknown reason, possibly disabled due to the snow in the road. A box truck rear ended Leilani’s vehicle at a high rate of speed.
Leilani White was rushed to a nearby hospital, where she tragically died. The accident remains under investigation to determine cause and liability, and to determine what caused Leilani White’s car to become disabled in the first place.
