“Pedestrian vs. Vehicle Collision”
ORANGE, CALIFORNIA (May 27, 2017) – A 42-year-old male pedestrian was involved in a vehicle collision near Chapman Avenue and Feldner Road early Saturday morning, according to the Orange fire Department. (map)
The accident occurred at approximately 12:46 a.m. when the driver of a pickup truck collided with the male pedestrian, according to the Orange Police Department. The male pedestrian sustained major injuries and listed n critical condition. Rescue crews were called to the scene and transported the male pedestrian to nearby UCI Medical Center.
The driver of the pickup truck fled the scene but was later found by witnesses. An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the collision.
