Pedestrian versus car collision kills Charles Gonzales in Ontario, California on 15 Freeway.

ONTARIO, CALIFORNIA (January 4, 2017) – A pedestrian was struck by several cars and killed on Wednesday morning on the 15 Freeway, according to a local news source. (map)

The accident occurred around 2:55 am on the southbound side of the 15 Freeway near the off-ramp for 4th Street. Charles Gonzales, a 52 year old man, was walking near the off-ramp when he was struck by a vehicle which immediately fled the scene.

Responding medical personnel tragically declared Gonzales dead at the scene, and were also able to determine that it appears he was struck by multiple vehicles. The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information is asked to come forward and contact the California Highway Patrol.
