ODEM, TEXAS (March 7, 2017) – A woman was injured when her SUV was struck by a semi-truck on Highway 77 near Odem on Tuesday morning, according to a local news source. (map)

The accident happened around 7:30 a.m. on Highway 77 near Odem. A woman was crossing Highway 77 in a white BMW SUV, when she was struck on the driver’s side by a semi-truck. The impact caused major damages to the BMW, and the semi-truck overturned into the center divider.

The woman in the SUV complained of pain and was hospitalized in unknown condition. The driver of the semi truck was not injured in the accident. The incident remains under investigation at this time to determine cause and liability.
