OCEANSIDE, CALIFORNIA (May 12, 2017) – Two vehicles were involved in an accident on SR78 on Friday, according to a California Highway Patrol report. (map)
The accident happened around 12:00 pm on the westbound side of SR78 near the 5 Freeway. Two cars were involved in a collision, described as a white minivan and a white sedan. The impact caused the airbags in the minivan to deploy.
At least one person sustained injuries in the accident, but the condition of all those involved is unknown. The accident remains under open investigation to determine cause and liability at this time.
