“Multi Car Crash”
OCEANSIDE, CALIFORNIA (January 30, 2017) – Three cars were involved in a collision on the 5 Freeway at Cassidy Street on Monday afternoon, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 3:14 pm on the southbound side of the 5 Freeway near Cassidy Street. A gray sedan rear ended a black Ford Edge for unknown reasons. The Ford spun out after the impact and struck a wheelbarrow. Another SUV was involved and struck a tree in the bushes.
Children were seen inside the sedan, and an ambulance responded to the scene to tend to those injured in the accident. The accident remains under investigation at this time to determine cause and liability.
