“Deadly Motorcycle Accident”
OCEANSIDE, CALIFORNIA (May 30, 2017) – A thirty-two-year-old motorcyclist was involved in a tragic motorcycle accident on Interstate 5 early Tuesday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol. (map)
The accident occurred at approximately 1:15 a.am. when a motorcyclist, traveling northbound on Interstate 5 Freeway on a 2006 Suzuki, hit a curb while traveling at a high rate of speed, hit a curb and fell off his bike, hitting a metal guardrail, according to CHP Officer Jim Bettencourt.
The motorcyclist tragically died as a result. The man’s name has not yet been released. Alcohol and drugs were not believed to have been a factor but the accident is still under investigation.
