OCEANSIDE, CALIFORNIA (February 4, 2017) – A motorcyclist and his passenger were seriously injured in an accident on Saturday morning at the intersection of North Pacific Street and Breakwater Way, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 1:45 am on Saturday, at the intersection of North Pacific Street and Breakwater Way. A 46 year old man on a Harley Davidson with a 39 year old female passenger lost control while making a turn and struck a curb, ejecting both of them.
Both the driver and the passenger were rushed to a hospital and sustained major injuries. The driver of the Harley was later found to have been operating the motorcycle under the influence of alcohol. The accident remains under open investigation at this time to determine cause and liability.
“It’s unfortunate that motorists under the influence disregard the negative effects that may ensue from driving under the influence. Drunk drivers continue to endanger the safety of all other drivers and passengers,” said the attorneys from Lexton Law Firm, a California car accident and personal injury attorney.
