OCEANSIDE, CALIFORNIA (February 2, 2017) – A motorcyclist was killed on Thursday evening in an accident on El Camino Real and Basel Street, according to a local news source. (map)

The accident happened around 5:40 pm on Thursday at the intersection of El Camino Real and Basel Street. A 2006 Toyota sedan made a left turn onto Basel Street from El Camino Real, striking a Suzuki motorcycle ridden by a 36 year old man identified as Jeremiah Eugene Ledesma.

Responding emergency medical personnel rushed Jeremiah Eugene Ledesma to a local hospital where he tragically succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead. The accident remains under open investigation at this time to determine cause and liability.
