The accident happened around 5:30 am in the 1000 block of 40th Street near Adeline Street. A pedestrian in a wheelchair was struck by a Paratransit bus for unknown reasons.
The pedestrian was tragically killed in the accident as a result of their injuries, and an investigation is ongoing to determine cause and liability in this tragic accident.
