Oakland Police Officer Hospitalized after Collision
OAKLAND, CA (Map) — An Oakland police officer was taken to the hospital with injuries after crashing into another vehicle on Broadway in North Oakland, according to authorities.
The officer was driving a Ford Explorer SUV when he crashed into another vehicle at about 5:25 a.m. at the 4200 block of Broadway, just a little ways away from Oakland Technical High School.
The police officer was transported to the hospital with injuries. his name has not yet been released to the public. The accident is still being investigated to determine cause and liability.
