25 year old Nick Gomez-Hall was a graduate of Coronado High School, and worked at Counterpoint Press, a publishing house in Berkeley. Nick was a musical genius according to friends, and was attending a rave in the warehouse the night of the blaze. The fire ripped through the warehouse, located on 31st Avenue, leaving many trapped inside.
Nick Gomez-Hall was tragically confirmed to have been one of the 36 people killed the night of the blaze. The fire is under a criminal investigation as authorities probe why the warehouse was being used as a living space when it was not zoned to do so.
“Sadly, there are no words that can comfort all family members and friends of Nick Gomez-Hall affected by this tragic accident,” said an attorney from Lexton Law Firm “Our thoughts and prayers are with all those involved.”
