
“Oakland Warehouse Fire”
OAKLAND, CALIFORNIA (December 20, 2016) – Chelsea Faith Dolan has been identified as one of the victims killed in a horrible fire in Oakland on December 2nd, according to a local news source. (map)
The fire broke out in a warehouse that was being used to host a rave on the night of December 2nd. The warehouse was crowded with personal belongings and RVs, as it was being used as a live/work space for artists in the area. The fire started in the back and spread through the warehouse rapidly, trapping many people inside.
One of those was 33 year old Chelsea Faith Dolan, also known as DJ Cherushii from the Berkeley University radio station KALX-FM. Chelsea was a musician and a fan of electronic music, according to her mother.
36 people were killed in the tragic fire, which remains under investigation at this time to determine cause and liability.
