OAKLAND, CALIFORNIA (March 8, 2017) – A semi-truck was involved in a two car accident on Interstate 880 on Wednesday morning, according to a California Highway Patrol report. (map)
The accident happened around 9:30 am on the northbound side of Interstate 880 near the 5th Street onramp. A white semi-truck and a black BMW were involved in a collision for unknown reasons, resulting in the BMW becoming stuck to the semi truck.
Paramedics responded to the scene to tend to any injuries sustained in the accident, and the condition of those involved is unknown. The investigation is ongoing at this time to determine cause and liability.
