OAKDALE: Motorcyclist Killed in Accident near the Highway 108 and Snedigar Road

“Ongoing Investigation”

OAKDALE, CA (February 12, 2017) – A motorcyclist was killed in a deadly accident near Highway 108 and Snedigar Road on Sunday night. (map)

The accident occurred at about 7:10 p.m. when Clarence Green, 85, failed to slow down on Highway 108 and crashed into the motorcyclist. The motorcycle rider was ejected from his 1999 Suzuki motorcycle and thrown onto the eastbound lanes of Highway 108. Shortly thereafter, 50-year-old Jose Negrete of Stockton failed to see the biker down in the street and struck him.

The motorcyclist, identified as 28 year old Justin Rosa, was pronounced dead at the scene. Green and Negrete were not harmed in the accident. The investigation remains ongoing to determine liability.

“Police will need to undergo a thorough investigation to determine what caused the accident. Many motorcycle accidents are typically the fault of the driver,” said the attorneys from Lexton Law Firm.
