The CHP reported that a 2015 Yamaha motorcycle, driven by Pendergrass, was traveling northbound on the highway around 5:30 a.m. when a 2001 Honda sedan, driven by a 23-year-old Oakdale woman, was traveling in n the opposite direction and collided with Pendergrass.
The CHP states that Pendergrass was pronounced dead at the scene while the drive of the other vehicle was not hurt.
“Motorists must be aware of motorcyclists on the road at all time. They may not always appear in rear view mirrors and often end up in blind spots causing drivers to completely miss them, creating potential for a possible accident,” said the attorneys from Lexton Law Firm, a California motorcycle accident and injury law firm.
