NORWALK, CALIFORNIA (February 18, 2017) – A man was involved in a two-car crash on the northbound 605 Freeway at the 105 Freeway connector on Saturday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol. (map)
The collision occurred at approximately 8:52 p.m. A white Toyota SUV, traveling at a high rate of speed, hit an unknown vehicle and the center divide. The SUV rolled over and caught fire near trees on the left side of the freeway. Rescue crews were called to the scene to tend to a critically injured man. The other victims involved in the collision suffered non-threatening injuries.
An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause and liability of the collision.
