NORTHRIDGE, CALIFORNIA (April 5, 2017) – Several people were injured in a multi-car collision on the 9100 block of Zelzah Avenue near Nordhoff Street early Wednesday morning, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident occurred approximately after midnight. A 20-year-old motorist driving a red Hyundai sedan was traveling the wrong way and collided head on with a black Nissan vehicle and sideswipes another car that was driven by and Uber driver.
Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene. The driver of the black Nissan was transported to the hospital in critical condition. Five other victims of the collision sustained minor injuries. The 20-year-old driver was taken into custody on suspicion of DUI. An investigation is ongoing.
