NICE, CALIFORNIA (February 17, 2017) – A pedestrian died in a vehicle collision early Friday morning near the Robinson Rancheria Casino on Highway 20, according to radio reports from police authorities. (map)

The fatal accident occurred at approximately 12:15 a.m., when the driver of a blue Toyota Tundra struck a pedestrian on Highway 20, in front of the Robinson Rancheria Casino. Emergency, rescue crews, and Police officials were dispatched to the scene. The pedestrian was found lying on the east side of Highway 20. Shortly after, firefighters reported that the pedestrian had succumbed to injuries sustained in the collision. The identity of the victim was not available.

An ongoing investigation is underway to determine the cause of the deadly collision.
