The accident happened early in the morning on the southbound side of the 73 Toll Road near Jamboree Road. A 20 year old woman was allegedly driving under the influence and operating a Mazda 3 when she struck the back of a Toyota Tundra pickup with enough force to cause the pickup truck to overturn several times.

A man from the Toyota Tundra was ejected during the crash and was rushed to a hospital with major injuries. Two others from the Tundra and two people from the Mazda were also hospitalized in unknown condition. The driver of the Mazda was identified as 20 year old Britney Noely Brito, who was arrested on suspicion of DUI. The accident remains under investigation at this time.

“Police will gather evidence and conduct interviews with the drivers and witnesses to determine liability” said the attorneys from Lexton Law Firm. “Any injured party involved in an accident will have a bodily injury claim against the negligent driver who caused the accident.”
