NEWCASTLE, CALIFORNIA (January 10, 2017) – A driver was pinned after an a falling tree fell on their car on Tuesday morning on State Route 193, according to a local news source. (map)
The tree, described as a large oak, fell on an unidentified vehicle on State Route 193 Lincoln Newcastle Highway at Rainbow Valley Lane around 5:46 am.
The driver of the car was trapped inside the vehicles, and responding personnel extricated the driver from the vehicle. The motorist reportedly suffered minor to moderate injuries in the accident, and the investigation is ongoing at this time to determine cause and liability.
