The accident happened around 6:45 a.m. on the eastbound side of the Interstate 469 ramp to US 30. A white semi-truck was stopped at a red light when a red semi-truck slammed into him without stopping.

The driver of the red semi-truck was rushed to a hospital in critical condition. The driver of the white semi truck did not report any injuries. The accident remains under active investigation at this time to determine cause and liability.
