NATIONWIDE (February 24, 2017) – A Little Tikes swing has been recalled after numerous reports of injuries surfaced, according to a local news source.
The pink Snug n’ Secure swing sets were manufactured between November 2009 and May 2014 with a model number of 615573 molded into the back of the seat. The swings seat can allegedly break, posing a fall hazard to children using it.
There have been 39 reports of injuries at this time, including two children that suffered broken arms. The Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a total recall of the swing on February 24th. Parents are urged to stop using the swing immediately, and contact Little Tikes for a credit towards another product.
“Some products are manufactured in a way that makes them inherently unsafe in order to simply save money during the manufacturing process. Shortcuts cannot be made or lives may be put in danger. Consumer Safety should never be optional,” said the attorneys from Lexton Law Firm.
