NATIONWIDE: Calphalon Cutlery Knives Recalled after Dozens of Injuries from Broken Knives

“Product Recalled”

NATIONWIDE (February 24, 2017) – Dozens of people have been injured by faulty Calphalon knives according to a report released by the Consumer Product Safety Commission and several news articles.

The knives were sold between September 2008 and December 2016 at stores like JCPenny’s, Kohls, Macy’s, and Amazon.com. Over 3,150 reports of broken knives have come to light, as well as 27 report of finger or hand lacerations resulting from the broken knives. Four of those injuries were serious enough to require stitches. The recalled knives were sold individually or as sets, and include carving, utility, santoku, chef, and paring knives.

Anyone that was injured by a broken Calphalon knife is urged to contact an experienced personal injury attorney immediately.
