“Pedestrian vs. Car Collision”
STEVINSON, CALIFORNIA (February 27, 2017) – 28-year-old Nathaniel Fleming was involved in a hit-and-run accident on 3rd Avenue near Rosa Road in Stevinson Monday evening according the California Highway Patrol (map)
The accident was reported at approximately 8:00 a.m. Fleming was walking on the north shoulder westbound on 3rd Avenue when the driver of an unknown vehicle, traveling at an unknown speed, hit Fleming while traveling westbound on 3rd Avenue just west of Rosa Road, according to CHP.
Fleming sustained major injuries including head trauma. Fleming was transported to Memorial Medical Center for treatment of those major injuries. The driver of the vehicle left the scene, however, police officials were able to located a side mirror at the scene. An investigation is on going to determine the whereabouts of the missing driver and the details involving the collision.
