NASHVILLE: CSX Worker Loses Arm in Train Accident

“Investigation Ongoing”

NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE (August 21, 2017) – A CSX worker lost their arm after a gruesome accident during Monday’s solar eclipse, according to a local news source. (map)

The accident happened on Monday, reportedly during the solar eclipse. An employee was working on a train when he was struck by another train, and the accident caused him to lose his arm.

The union that represents railroad workers in the area released a memo stating they believe the eclipse may have contributed to the accident, due to the darkness at the time and the fact that the attention of most of the supervisors was focused on the eclipse. The exact reason for the accident is unknown at this time.

“Almost one death or injury per day occurs on the rail system in the United States. Many of these tragic deaths are avoidable, the rail system is antiquated and needs a complete overhaul to ensure the safety of pedestrians, drivers, and train passengers,” said the attorneys from Lexton Law Firm.

“Any injured party involved in an accident will have a bodily injury claim against the negligent driver who caused the accident,” said the attorneys from Lexton Law Firm, a car accident and personal injury law firm.
