NAPERVILLE, ILLINOIS (January 3, 2017) – A ambulance ran a red light and struck a car in Naperville on Tuesday morning on Ogden Avenue, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 3:25 am. An Aurora County Ambulance was traveling west on Aurora Avenue when it entered the intersection with Ogden Avenue, then collided with a 1998 Toyota Camry heading north on Ogden Avenue. The impact rolled the ambulance onto its side and the Toyota Camry ended up in a nearby parking lot.
Two paramedics and one woman were injured in the accident, and all three were taken to Edward Hospital in unknown condition. The accident remains under investigation at this time.
