SUV Fatally Strikes Pedestrian at Intersection of 215 Freeway and Clinton Keith Road
MURRITETA, CA (January 8, 2017) – A pedestrian was killed last night in a fatal accident with an SUV at the intersection of the 215 Freeway and Clinton Keith Road.
According to the CHP report, a pedestrian was struck by a Jeep Grand Cherokee at the off-ramp of Clinton Keith Road. Fire and Emergency Crews responded to the scene of the accident to find the SUV pulled over to the right shoulder of the road.
Debris had been scattered across all four lanes. There has been no official report on how the accident occurred or who was at fault, only that a pedestrian was killed. More details will be released pending the investigation.
“According to experts drivers are responsible the majority of the time for pedestrian accidents. These collisions occur when drivers are careless and fail to yield in a crosswalk or when they turn right on a red light without looking out for a pedestrian,” said a California pedestrian accident and personal injury lawyer.
