“Multi Car Collision”
MOUNTAIN VIEW, CALIFORNIA (March 13, 2017) – At least four cars were involved in a collision on US Highway 101 on Monday morning, according to a California Highway Patrol report. (map)
The accident happened around 8:40 am on the southbound side of the 101 Freeway near Ellis Street. A charcoal Toyota Prius, a black BMW, a white Lexus, and a fourth vehicle of unidentified make and model were involved in a collision for unknown reasons.
The parties in the BMW reported sustaining no injuries, but at least one person in the other vehicles reported having chest pains after the accident. An ambulance responded to the scene to tend to anyone injured in the accident, and the current condition of those involved is unknown. The accident remains under active investigation at this time to determine cause and liability.
