MOUNTAIN PASS, CALIFORNIA (January 1, 2017) – 79 year old Abraham Jones and his 2 month old grandson Timol Jenkins Jr were both tragically killed in an accident on the 15 Freeway on Sunday, according to a local news source. (map)

Abraham Jones was traveling north on the 15 Freeway around 4:50 am in a 2015 Nissan Altima when he was rear ended by a 2002 Infiniti G35. The Infinity struck the center divider, and Jones got out of his car and stood behind his Nissan. The Nissan and Jones were then struck by a 2006 Toyota Corolla.

Abraham Jones and his grandson Timol Jenkins were both pronounced dead as a result of the accident. The accident remains under investigation as authorities determine cause and liability in this tragic collision.
