“Big Rig Accident”
MORENO VALLEY, CALIFORNIA (April 19, 2017) – A big rig was involved in a collision with up to ten additional vehicles on the 60 Freeway on Wednesday afternoon, according to a California Highway Patrol report. (map)
The accident happened around 1:50 pm on the westbound side of the 60 Freeway, near Nason Street. A semi-truck was involved in a collision with up to ten vehicles, one of which was described as a white Toyota Prius that sustained heavy damages.
Paramedics rushed to the scene, but the extent of injuries suffered in the accident is unknown at this time. The accident remains under active investigation to determine cause and liability.
