MONTEREY COUNTY, CALIFORNIA (December 9, 2016) – According to the California Highway Patrol, 38-year-old Ariel U. Sanchez was killed on Friday morning in a single-vehicle collision on Highway 68, just east of Morse Drive. (map)
The CHP reported that a 1980 Toyota Supra was found in an embankment around 7:15 a.m. The driver of the Supra, Sanchez, was traveling on Highway 68 when they ran into a tree and fell 8 feet down an embankment.
The CHP states that Sanchez was pronounced dead at the scene.
