MONTEBELLO, CALIFORNIA (February 18, 2017) – A pedestrian was killed on Saturday night at the intersection of Concourse Avenue and West Whittier Boulevard, according to a California Highway Patrol report. (map)
The accident happened around 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of Concourse Avenue and Whittier Boulevard. A black Ford Expedition crashed into multiple parked cars before hitting a pedestrian at the scene.
The pedestrian was tragically pronounced dead at the scene as a result of injuries sustained in the accident. The incident remains under investigation at this time to determine cause and liability.
