A red Mustang driven by a female was crossing the intersection at 7th Street and L Street around 3:00 pm when a black Chevrolet Tahoe ran a red light and crashed into her on the drivers side.
The woman was rushed to the hospital, where she tragically died. The driver and three passengers inside the SUV fled the scene, and investigators later discovered the SUV was stolen. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
