MODESTO, CALIFORNIA (January 29, 2017) – Two trucks were involved in a collision on Highway 99 near East Hatch Road on Sunday afternoon, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 1:00 pm at the intersection of Highway 99 and East Hatch Road. A semi-truck and a U-Haul collided for unknown reasons, blocking multiple lanes on the freeway.
The accident injured at least one person, who was tended to by responding paramedics. The condition of others involved is unknown. The accident remains under investigation at this time.
