“School Bus Accident”

MISSOULA, MONTANA (December 21, 2016) – A school bus carrying 35 students crashed after it slipped on an icy surface on Wednesday afternoon, according to a local news source. (map)

The accident happened near KM Ranch Road. A school bus for the Whitefish School District was traveling on a snowy road when the driver attempted to negotiate a right hand curve. The bus went over an embankment and tipped over, landing on its side.

The students inside were able to escape through the rear hatch. None reported serious injuries as of yet, but one student was taken from the scene of the accident on KM Ranch Road by ambulance as a precaution. The investigation is ongoing.

“Any parties injured in a car accident are strongly advised to go to a nearby medical center if they are injured in a collision and deny EMT assistance at a crash scene. It can sometimes take several days after the initial collision for pain to reveal itself. Injured drivers will have a right to a claim against the negligent motorist. Investigators will get together to look into the collision to determine the party at fault.” said Attorney , a car accident and personal injury lawyer for Lexton Law Firm.
