CHP Investigating 4-Car Collision

MILPITAS, CALIFORNIA (December 11, 2016) –The California Highway Patrol reported a multiple-vehicle crash on the 880 North Freeway near the Great Mall Parkway on Sunday morning. (map)

According to the CHP report, the accident occurred at approximately 1:54 a.m. on CA-880 Highway and involved a total of four vehicles.

Paramedics were called to the scene to provide medical attention to the injured parties. The number of people injured, as well as the extent of the injuries, has not been disclosed.

The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the accident.

Distracted drivers are a major cause for motor vehicle collisions. Other contributing factors include driving under the influence, speeding, road conditions, inexperience, disobeying traffic signals, and debris.
