Miguel Corona Killed in Boating Accident on Lake Mendocino

UKIAH, CALIFORNIA (June 24, 2017) – Miguel Corona was reportedly identified as the victim killed in a tragic collision between two boats on Saturday, according to a local news source. (map)

The accident happened around 10:30 pm. A boat had just left the north ramp dock when it was involved in a collision with another boat that was approaching the dock. One of the boats was described as a 2002 Malibu Wakesetter, and the other was a 1982 Century Cuddy Cabin, both 23 feet long.

26 year old Miguel Corona was tragically pronounced dead at the scene as a result of the collision. Up to four others were injured out of the reportedly 10 people on board the two boats. The accident remains under investigation at this time.
