MIAMI, FLORIDA (June 29, 2017) – A series of Fourth of July fireworks made by American Promotional Events, have been recalled because they pose burn and injury hazards to consumers. According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission Recall Notice, the fireworks began exploding after they were lit, posing a threat to consumers. The UPC code on the fireworks is 027736036561.
Those consumers who may have purchased the fireworks are asked to return them for a full refund and they can also call American Promotional Events at 800-243-1189 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday; email at firstname.lastname@example.org; at the company’s website. So far there have been three incident reports with three people sustaining burn injuries and damage to property has not been reported to date.
