“Pedestrian vs. Vehicle Accident”
MENLO PARK, CA (May 15, 2017) – 48 year-old Domingo Gonzalez Gomez was involved in a vehicle collision on Marsh Road and the U.S. 101 Freeway Monday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol. (map)
A black Honda Accord hit Gomez as he was crossing westbound on Marsh Road and the 101 Freeway intersection. Initial reports indicated that Gomez was lying in the road and not moving. Gomez sustained a broken leg and pelvis.
Gomez was transported to Stanford Medical Center for treatment of those major injuries. A Sig-Alert was issued and the Marsh Road on-ramp was closed off to the freeway periodically.
Authorities continue to investigate how and why the accident occurred.
