ORANGE, CALIFORNIA (April 25, 2017) – Meghan Brown has been identified as the passenger killed in a tragic accident on the 5 Freeway on Tuesday night, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 9:15 pm on the northbound side of the 5 Freeway, near the off-ramp for Chapman Avenue. A black Honda Accord was exiting the freeway when it veered off and struck a brick structure on the right shoulder under the freeway overpass.
36 year old Meghan Brown, the front seat passenger, was tragically pronounced dead as a result of injuries sustained in the accident. The driver of the vehicle was identified as 50 year old Dana Flink, who was rushed to UCI Medical Center with major injuries, and is in unknown condition. It is unknown why the car crashed into the structure, which is normally used to house city equipment or infrastructure.
