FRESNO, CALIFORNIA (February 18, 2017) – A woman killed in a tragic accident on Saturday morning near Chateau Fresno Avenue and Kearney Boulevard has been identified, according to a local news source. (map)

The accident happened sometime around 9:40 a.m. at the intersection of Chateau Fresno Avenue  and Kearney Boulevard. 60 year old Mary Lynn Barber was driving a white Prius north on Chateu Fresno, when she entered the intersection and was struck on the left side of her car by a black vehicle that was eastbound on Kearney.

Mary Lynn Barber was tragically pronounced dead at the scene by responding medical personnel. The condition of those in the other car is unknown at this time. The accident remains under investigation to determine cause and liability.
