Jacob Cannon killed when bike goes through intersection
Jacob Cannon, 20, Tragically Killed at Intersection of Ohio 203 and Ohio 95

“Motorcycle Fatality”

MARION, OHIO (August 10, 2017) – 20-year-old Jacob R. Cannon was involved in a motorcycle incident on State Route 203 near state Route 95 early Thursday morning, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol. (map)

The accident occurred at approximately 4:45 a.m. Cannon was traveling southbound on route 203 riding a 2008 Kawasaki motorcycle. Cannon, for unknown reasons, lost control of the motorcycle. The motorcycle then overturned an went through the intersection of State Route 95. Cannon died from the collision.

An initial report, by the Ohio State Highway Patrol, stated that evidences from the scene may indicate that Cannon may have been hit by a driver that fled the scene.

No other details of of the accident were available. An investigation is ongoing.

Ohio State Highway Patrol is asking anyone with knowledge of the accident to please contact the Ohio State Highway Patrol-Marion Post at 740-383-2181.
