APPLE VALLEY, CALIFORNIA (July 22, 2017) – 59-year-old Margo Chase died while practicing in her Panzl Aerobatic Airplane Saturday afternoon, according to the Apple Valley Fire Protection firefighters. (map)
The accident was reported approximately at 2:17 p.m. Firefighters arrived on the scene and found Chase dead at the scene. Chase’s husband Patrick Dugan and a family friend witnessed as the plane came crashing down, according to Fire Chief Sid Hultquist.
No other information pertaining to the deadly crash was immediately available. An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause and liability of the crash.
