MARANA, CALIFORNIA (February 11, 2017) – A man and a woman were injured in an accident on Saturday morning on Interstate 10, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 8:00 a.m. on the westbound side of Interstate 10, near Marana Road. A gold Toyota Camry left the road for an unknown reason, careened through an empty irrigation canal, rolled once and then landed on its wheels before catching on fire. A man and woman inside the car were both seriously injured and were pulled from the fiery crash by Good Samaritans.
The accident remains under investigation at this time to determine cause and liability.
