MANASSAS, VIRGINIA (February 28, 2017) – A man was seriously injured after a home under construction exploded on Tuesday morning, according to a local news source. (map)

The explosion happened around 6:50 a.m. in the 11600 block of Kahns Road, at the site of a house that was under construction. An explosion ripped through a large portion of the home for unknown reasons.

At least one man was badly injured in the explosion and was airlifted to a local hospital. His current condition is unknown. The cause of the explosion is unknown and is under investigation at this time.
