“Investigation Ongoing”
MADERA, CALIFORNIA (January 23, 2017) – On Monday afternoon a high-speed chase with Madera County Sheriff’s deputy ensued on Highway 41, near Children’s Boulevard. (map)
The chase began when the deputy saw a tan sedan, driven by an unidentified woman, driving north on Highway 41 at high speeds. The woman then crossed into oncoming traffic and stuck a blue Chevrolet sedan. The collision caused the woman’s car to spin out of control and collide head-on with a grey Dodge.
Paramedics were dispatched, but sadly, the woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The two other drivers suffered minor injures.
