MADERA: High Speed Collision Kills One, Injures Two on Highway 41 near Children’s Boulevard

MADERA, CALIFORNIA (January 23, 2017) – Two people were injured and one was killed in a high speed pursuit on Highway 41 near Children’s Boulevard on Monday, according to a local news source. (map)

A Madera County Sheriff’s Deputy began following a speeding tan vehicle northbound on Highway 41 around 3:00 pm. The vehicle then veered into southbound lanes, hitting a blue Chevrolet sedan which spun out and collided head on with a gray Dodge.

The driver of the speeding tan vehicle was tragically killed in the accident, and the drivers of the Dodge and Chevrolet were both injured. The accident remains under investigation to determine cause and liability.
